Decalibron loop. 4 14ers, 3.7k feet, 7.5 miles.6 hours C2C, at a conversational pace. Getting stronger day by day!Back in December of 2018 I attempted this traverse in the dead of winter. I got up to mt.democrat, realized it was wayyy too windy(porbably was gusting 40mph with sub 0 wind chill), so I turned around. The last 2 pics compare the winter and summer views on top of mr.democrat. It was interesting to reflect how much has changed since then in my life, and also how little has as well.Lastly I'd like to call out that the 4th peak in this traverse, mt bross, is closed to the public. A PRIVATE CITIZEN OWNS THE MOUNTAIN TOP.It's pretty freaking ridiculous, and you can read about it more online. If you want to make mountain peaks accessible to all, consider donating to Colorado Mountain Club who's working to make these peaks publically accessable.

I still have another couple months till I can go climbing or backpacking, but at least I can punish my legs while I wait If anyone wants to go on backpacking or climbing(or anything really) adventures in November/December, hit me up! I'm back on the adventure market. This time for good 🙂
